Meredith and Jeannie Ray Cancer Center Staff Members Dr. Clinton Merrill
Clint Merrill, M.D. was raised in Cheyenne and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wyoming. He received his medical degree from Creighton University and subsequently completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. He was in private practice in Internal Medicine in Gillette, Wyoming for three years following his residency and later for 2 years in Casa Grande, Arizona. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Michigan State University. He was in private practice in Hematology and Oncology in Fort Collins, Colorado for 12 years prior to moving to Laramie in July of 2002 to become Medical Directory of the Meredith and Jeannie Ray Cancer Center. He is married to Lisa who is a medical technologist and manages the medical oncology practice in Laramie. Clint and Lisa have four children: Erica just graduated from the University of Colorado, Aaron is a junior at Cornell University, Sierra is in tenth grade, and Bailey is in eighth grade. In his “spare time” Clint enjoys weightlifting, boxing, bicycle riding, playing guitar and stained glass projects.
