Meredith and Jeannie Ray Cancer Center Staff Members Misty Browning, TNCC
Misty was born and raised in Laramie and is just a “good ol’ girl.” She received her Associate degree in nursing from LCCC and has been a nurse since 1994. She became an RN in 2000. Misty is currently attending the University of Wyoming and will graduate in 2007 with her Bachelor of nursing. “I love being a nurse for the simple reason, I like to be able to provide care and support to those who need care. Being a nurse completes me,” said Misty. Misty is the mother of six 4-legged children. She has two horses, three dogs (an English Mastiff, a Keeshound/Shepherd cross and an Akita cross), and one little ranch kitty. She has five brothers and one sister who are spread out across the country. Her parents are still in Laramie and live a mere two blocks from her. Her passions in life include contact sports. Misty said “Cowboy athletics are a must in my life. GO POKES!!!!!” She also enjoys playing golf, but most of all she loves being with her children and being outdoors. She enjoys watching rodeo, team roping and steer roping.
