Healthy Heart Program - Studies show that regular communication between a patient in cardiac recovery and a health care professional prevents repeated hospitalization, by teaching those in recovery how to manage their own care. Cardiac rehabilitation services are available for anyone who has had a cardiac event, has a history of cardiac problems, or are at risk to develop cardiac disease.

A combination of education and exercise is the best way to prevent future cardiac events. IMH provides supervised and self-paced exercise programs using treadmills, stationary bicycles, and aerobic machines to strengthen the heart and body. All exercise is supervised with personal attention from a registered nurse and cardiac testing technology including ECG telemetry monitoring to ensure you stay within healthy ranges of activity.

Mended Hearts - Mended Hearts is the educational and support component of the Healthy Heart Program. It is a monthly, seminar program that offers information on heart disease and its risk factors.
