Ivinson Memorial Hospital and CEO Recognized with Chamber of Commerce Awards February 26, 2010 Laramie, WY— Ivinson Memorial Hospital was recognized with the Laramie Area Chamber of Commerce Business Community Service Award for 2009. This award is open to Chamber members who are doing business in Albany County and demonstrate a high level of community involvement through participation in civic, community and Chamber oriented projects and activities. These businesses have made a significant contribution to the economic health of the community through payroll, investments, benevolent support, and participation in economic development programs. In addition, they provide positive encouragement for employees to participate in community activities through company policy and creating future leaders for the Laramie Area. Carol Dozier, President/CEO of Ivinson Memorial Hospital was recognized as the Laramie Area Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year. This award recognizes Chamber members who have been in business more than two years. Consistently contributes to Chamber oriented projects and the community. This person must demonstrate strong leadership skills and be adept at handling adversity. He or she provides positive, progressive and forward thinking solutions relating to the prosperity and growth of the Laramie Area. The winners of these awards were announced at the Laramie Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet on February 25. |
