University of Wyoming
     The University of Wyoming is a nationally recognized research institute with an enrollment of about 13,000. As the second largest       employer in the state, the University of Wyoming brings invaluable cultural and economic capital to the city of Laramie.

Strong public school system
     In Albany County School District 1, students at every grade level statistically score at or above state averages on state exams. Its       junior class is 3rd in the state for ACT scores, and high school graduates in 2014 qualified for and received almost $3 million in       scholarship money at universities across the country.

Outdoor recreation
     Laramie is nestled between two mountain ranges: the Snowy Range (30 miles west) and the Laramie Range
     (7 miles east), allowing outdoor enthusiasts convenient access to beautiful mountains and activities like rock climbing,

     Additionally, Laramie Regional Airport provides daily commercial flights to Denver International Airport, allowing fliers to
     avoid the hassle of driving into Colorado to travel.
