Position Overview:
Reporting to the CNO, the Clinical Director BHS performs all necessary functions to oversee the BHS unit to ensure that the provision of patient care meets current Federal, State, and Local Standards, Guidelines and Regulations. The Clinical Director provides, delegates, coordinates and supports nursing care throughout IMH. The Clinical Director serves as a liaison between the governing body, medical staff, nursing personnel and other professional and ancillary personnel in the facility.
Requirements:
• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Must have a BSN.
• Must have a current, valid RN license in the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Board.
• Must have current, valid BLS certification, or must obtain within 90 days of hire and must maintain credential throughout employment with IMH.
• Must certify in a non violence intervention course (MANDT) within the first 4 months of hire and must maintain the credential throughout employment with IMH.
• Must have at least three (3) years of experience as an RN in psychiatric clinical nursing.
• Must have recent experience in a supervisory role.
