A GEM is any employee who is observed Going the Extra Mile in the work they do. Employees can recognize their peers using GEM cards. Cards could be earned by picking up extra shifts, handling a challenging situation, volunteering and coming up with great ideas. Recipients of GEM cards can place GEM cards in the drop box in the atrium to enter to win a monthly gift! Drawings occur on the first Monday of every month. Both the GEM recipient and the nominator will win a gift if their card is drawn. Winners are announced on Sharepoint.
