From Basic Life Support to Prenatal Care, Ivinson Memorial Hospital is proud to offer a wide variety of education courses and events which are open to the Laramie community.

Ivin­son is taking extra precautions to further protect our patients, visitors, staff and providers from com­mu­ni­ty spread of res­pi­ra­to­ry illness by limiting visitors within the hospital. Consequentially, our community education classes have been paused until the end of May. Prenatal education will continue in an online format and all classes will be reevaluated and information will be updated as it becomes available.

basic life support

This course builds a foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR.

advanced cardiovascular life support

ACLS Provider and ACLS Re-certification courses. Both of these courses allow for student interaction, hands on experience, and the asking of questions, in a classroom and small group environment.

pediatric advanced life support

PALS Provider and PALS Re-certification courses. Both courses allow for student interaction, hands on experience, and the asking of questions, in a classroom and small group environment.

AHA HeartCode Skills

AHA HeartCode courses use a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students knowledge and skills.
