100 Great Community Hospitals
Ivinson Named to Becker’s “100 Great Community Hospitals” 2025 List
Ivinson Memorial Hospital has been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review 2025 list of 100 Great Community Hospitals.
“Caring for our community is at the center of everything we do,” said Ivinson Chief Executive Officer Doug Faus. “Being included on this list is an honor, and it reflects the hard work of our entire team and the trust our community places in us.”
The Becker’s list recognizes hospitals that provide high-quality care in communities outside major cities and health systems, where they play a vital role in improving health and access to care. Hospitals were selected based on nominations and performance across trusted benchmarks from leading organizations, including U.S. News & World Report, Healthgrades, CMS, The Leapfrog Group, the National Rural Health Association and The Chartis Center for Rural Health.
“Community hospitals play a vital role in the fabric of the U.S. healthcare system, delivering accessible, affordable care to patients beyond major metropolitan areas. Whether serving rural regions or suburban neighborhoods, these hospitals are essential to keeping communities healthy and connected to quality care,” the Becker’s press release reads.
Ivinson joins this list following recent construction renovations and improvements in a new women’s and children’s center, an expanded emergency department and partnerships that bring specialized care closer to home. Recognized in 2024 as a Top 100 Rural and Community Hospital by the Chartis Center for Rural Health, Ivinson continues to build on that momentum with projects that strengthen care in Laramie. With more developments ahead, the hospital remains focused on expanding access and meeting the healthcare needs of the community for years to come.
