Community Works Together For Albany County Vaccine Distribution
Albany County Public Health (ACPH), in partnership with the University of Wyoming (UW) and Ivinson Memorial Hospital (IMH), are administering allocated doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to Albany County residents.
Following distribution guidelines outlined by the Wyoming Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, ACPH, UW and IMH have been able to offer vaccines to residents within Phase 1a of the State’s vaccination prioritization schedule. Beginning January 25, 2021, we will start offering the vaccine to Phase 1b, subgroups 1 – 3 which includes people who are 70 years of age or older. Due to vaccine availability, distribution efforts will initially focus on individuals who are 80 years of age or older. Individuals in subgroups 1 – 3 should sign up for My Health Connection, IMH’s patient portal to be notified when it is time to schedule their vaccination appointment. Beginning January 26, 2021, individuals in subgroups 1 – 3 can call (307) 766‑8222 if they need assistance.
Individuals who are included in phase 1b because of their employment will be contacted by their employer or Albany County Public Health when more vaccines are made available. Employers who believe that their organization falls into one or more of the prioritized populations in Phase 1b can visit bit.ly/ACPHemployer to complete an intake form. All individuals in Phase 1b, regardless of sub-group classification, are encouraged to sign up for My Health Connection to be notified when the vaccine is more readily available to them.

All Albany County residents can now sign up to be notified when a vaccine is available using My Health Connection, IMH’s online patient portal. If residents currently have a My Health Connection account, they will automatically receive updates regarding the vaccine. If they do not have a My Health Connection account, they can create one by visiting IMH’s website.
