Under Faus’ leadership, Ivinson Memorial Hospital has been recognized as a top 20 rural and community hospital by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) in the Spring of 2026. Faus has led Ivinson through two major transitions during his tenure as CEO. In 2019, Ivinson transitioned to a 501c(3) nonprofit hospital and successfully implemented a new electronic health record system. In the thirteen years of Faus’ leadership, Ivinson has experienced tremendous growth with numerous renovations and expansions to the hospital facilities, most recently taking on Ivinson Urgent Care to keep a locally loved clinic and its services available to the community. The substantial growth is also attributed to reinvesting in the extended life of the hospital as seen with the renovation and expansion of the Meridith and Jennie Ray Cancer Center.
