Lonny Dobler named Vice President of Clinic Services
Dobler brings 20+ years of clinical leadership to the new executive clinic role.
Lonny Dobler, PharmD, MBA, has been named Ivinson’s new Vice President (VP) of Clinic Services, starting this month. Dobler brings over 20 years of clinical leadership experience with him, and has served in the role on an interim basis since October.
The VP of Clinic Services position was established to provide dedicated, admin-level leadership to Ivinson Medical Group’s growing clinics. As Vice President, Dobler will serve on Ivinson’s senior leadership team while overseeing all outpatient clinics, Cheyenne and Rawlins outreach and the newly-acquired Ivinson Urgent Care.
“Ivinson Medical Group has grown tremendously over the last several years,” Chief Executive Officer Doug Faus said. “This structure will provide the necessary support our clinics need as we continue to expand access to care across our region.”
Faus added that Dobler’s leadership style and track record made him a natural fit for the role.
“Lonny understands the clinical and operational side of healthcare, and has a leadership style that’s really focused on people,” Faus said. “He improves how we work while making sure our teams feel supported and heard. That balance is critical as our medical group continues to grow.”
Dobler joined Ivinson in 2018 as Director of Pharmacy and later served as Senior Director of Ancillary Services. In the latter role, he led significant process improvement efforts within cardiopulmonary and the lab, strengthened team culture and increased retention.
The Vice President role is part of a broader investment in clinic leadership to support continued expansion and operational excellence across Ivinson Medical Group.
Prior to joining Ivinson, Dobler served as Pharmacy Director at Star Valley Medical Center from 2005 to 2010 and later spent two years as Pharmacy Director at Southwest Health Center in Platteville, WI. From 2012 to 2018, he worked at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center as Pharmacy Operations Manager.
Dobler holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Wyoming.
“I’ve worked in several hospitals over the course of my career, and truly believe that the staff and providers here are what make Ivinson special,” Dobler said. “Everyone is deeply committed to our patients, and I’m proud to be part of that.”
Dobler shared he is driven by a desire to have a positive impact on healthcare delivery in Laramie and the surrounding communities.
“I view this as a tremendous opportunity, for myself, and the organization, to continue to challenge ourselves to improve our ability to meet the needs of the growing number of patients we serve.”
