Sagan Wheeler, MHA, has been named Ivinson’s new Vice President of Partner Services.

Wheeler joined the Ivinson team in 2016, starting in human resources. Since coming to Ivinson, she has provided leadership in numerous departments, growing our team and supporting several hospital initiatives.

Sagan is a valued member of our Senior Leadership Team, contributing fresh perspective and a firm grasp of Ivinson’s commitments and promise to our community,” Chief Executive Officer, Doug Faus said. I look forward to Sagan’s continued leadership and drive to ensure our employees feel valued and supported in the work they do every day.”

Following her time at Ivinson as an HR Generalist, she took on physician recruitment, helping grow our team of dedicated providers. She then accepted the role of Marketing Director, where she has enhanced marketing and communication efforts to meet the needs of our growing clinics and service lines.

As the Senior Director of Partner Services, she has provided leadership for Ivinson’s organizational development, human resources, including clinical education and employee health as well as guest relations, gift shop and marketing departments. In 2021, she joined the Senior Leadership Team to provide strategic direction and work with leaders across the organization to create an environment for team members to do their best work.

Wheeler holds dual master’s degrees in healthcare administration and mental health counseling and a bachelor’s degree in communication, all of which she earned at the University of Wyoming. She is currently a board member for the United Way of Albany County and the Community Service Block Grant. Additionally, she has served as a long-term volunteer for the Laramie Main Street Alliance, supporting downtown Laramie’s special events, economic development and marketing and promotions. Through her work supporting community initiatives, Wheeler has helped build and maintain meaningful connections within the Laramie community which drives her work in fostering the culture at Ivinson.

I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of the Laramie community and the Ivinson team,” Wheeler said. I am proud of the care our hospital provides to the community that I love, and I feel honored to work alongside the talented people who provide that world-class care every day.”
