Top 100 Rural and Community Hospital

This is the 7th time Ivinson has earned this distinction since 2018.

Ivinson Memorial Hospital today announced it has been recognized as a 2026 Top 100 Rural & Community Hospital by The Chartis Center for Rural Health.

 The Top 100 awards program celebrates outstanding performance annually among the nation’s rural hospitals based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX®.

Now in its 16th year, the INDEX is the industry’s most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural hospital performance. Leveraging publicly available data, the INDEX is utilized nationwide by rural hospitals, health systems with rural affiliates, hospital associations, and state offices of rural health to measure and monitor performance across a variety of areas impacting hospital operations, quality, patient perspective and finance.

Ivinson Memorial Hospital (Ivinson) is a 99-bed, non-profit community hospital dedicated to providing high quality healthcare services to the residents of Albany County since 1917. Services include emergency, behavioral health, cardiopulmonary, outpatient rehabilitation, medical care, surgical care, intensive care, dialysis unit, Women and Children Center, as well as a Cancer Center and Medical Group. Ivinson Memorial Hospital is affiliated with UCHealth, while remaining 100% locally owned and operated by a local board of directors. Ivinson is fully accredited and meets all standards of the Joint Commission (an independent, not-for-profit organization). Ivinson is also accredited by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
