Welcome Alexis Anderson, MD

With a fresh perspective, she is looking forward to learning more and growing as a provider. Her most notable concentrations include a sports medicine, joint injections, non-operative obstetrics and pediatrics all with the ability to see patients young, elderly and in between. ​“I love being able to take care of postpartum people and their baby simultaneously,” expressed Dr. Anderson. 

Dr. Anderson’s areas-of-focus include gynecology and postpartum care which sets her apart from many family medicine providers. She officially joined Ivinson Medical Group in July, and is looking forward to elevating the health of the community that was a key part of her growth as a doctor. Gaining her bachelor of science degree in physiology at the University of Wyoming gave her the opportunity to grow fond of Wyoming and experience what Laramie had to offer before gaining her master’s degree. Outside of patient care, her favorite hobbies include rock climbing, camping, flyfishing, knitting, hiking and many more outdoor activities. She is most excited to learn more about the community and culture of Laramie and be a contributor of world-class care.

When voicing her care philosophy, Dr. Anderson says her main goal is ​“to optimize your health,” adding, ​“I strive to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care to improve your well-being.”
