Alexis Anderson, MD

Alexis is knowledgeable in a wide range of family medicine for all ages. She looks to elevate health in the community that helped her grow as a doctor. Evidence-based medicine is one of her main interests, and she hopes to bring the best care possible to patients at Ivinson with this approach. Alexis is excited to bring knowledge from her residency, and this includes education centered around GLP-1s and obesity associated cancers. She is interested in quality improvement research that focuses on colorectal cancer screening and the wilderness medicine pathway as a secondary focus to sports medicine. Outside of patient care, her favorite hobbies include rock climbing, camping, fly fishing, knitting, hiking and many more outdoor activities. She is always improving and wants to provide faster intervention that brings improved outcomes for her patients.
