We are opening our time capsule from 1973! Join us Monday, March 6, 2023 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ivinson in the West Atrium (Door #4) for a celebration of the last 50 years at Ivinson and take a peek into the past. Ivinson staff will also be sharing information and giving tours around the hospital. We will be serving food from the Grazing Cowboy and inviting the public to share in this community history. When the current hospital building was constructed in 1973, Ivinson Memorial Hospital staff buried a time capsule on the property. When our new Medical Office Building was constructed, we uncovered the capsule that is marked for March 6, 2023, 50 years after it was placed. This is a unique opportunity to celebrate the advances of our organization and to look ahead to the next 50 years in Laramie, starting with the expansion of our emergency facilities.
