Timothy Govaerts, MD

Dr. Govaerts is an internal medicine physician with over 26 years of experience in his field of practice. Prior to joining the Ivinson team Dr. Govaerts practiced as a nephrologist, treating patients for kidney concerns in addition to internal medicine needs such as diabetic management, hypertention and chronic kidney disease. His educational journey took him through Nebraska for the majority of his training, with a noteworthy fellowship completed in Michigan.Interestingly, Dr. Govaerts discovered his deep connection to Laramie quite serendipitously. It became a special place in his heart when his sons attended college there, and he and his wife made it their cherished home, sharing it with their two beloved dogs. Beyond his commitment to patient care, Dr. Govaerts has a passion for travel, quality time with family, a round of golf, and the joy of reading.
